Topaz was born and raised in Hanford, CA and later moved to a small farming town named Riverdale. She started her education at West Hills College in Lemoore and transferred to CSU Fresno where she received her B.A. in Psychology in May 2021. She started working in the autism field in 2018 providing in-home treatment to children affected by ASD around the central valley.
Topaz joined the CAC team in 2019 as a Behavior Technician and fell in love with ABA, which motivated her to change her career path to work towards becoming a BCBA. She was promoted to Training Coordinator in May 2021 and then to a Case Assistant one year later. Not a day goes by where Topaz doesn’t smile or laugh while working at CAC. She is grateful to take part in changing the lives of our kiddos and new team members. She aspires to become just like the BCBAs she works with.
When not at work, you can find Topaz shopping, eating sushi, or at a Starbucks drive-through. She also enjoys spending time with her family and going on trips with her fiancé.
